Blessing E. Dawson is the founder and CEO of Better Generations, Family and Therapy Services.
Blessing founded Better Generations with the mission to foster better generations within families of color, by leading millennial individuals and couples of our communities into a revolutionary healing journey. Blessing’s story of resilience, faith, and reconnection are some of the driving forces behind the growth of our agency.
Blessing holds professional degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park as well as Howard University; where she obtained her master’s degree and began her clinical journey in the field of mental health. Blessing is a licensed clinical social worker, holding professional licensure in Washington, DC as well as Maryland.
Today, Blessing employs mental health therapists who share the same mission and implement the core values of Better Generations; Love, Revolution, Betterment, and Connection.
Blessing has an extensive list of clinical experience in specialties including anxiety, depression, trauma, family dynamics, marital conflict, pre-marital success, psychiatric disorders, etc.
